My Passion For Martial Arts
Martial arts makes you fit, it makes you strong, it makes you sweat, you learn something about yourself while you go along on your journey. You have a teacher. It becomes part of life. You discover that you can draw on that strength when you are outside of the dojo. Along the way, it becomes a passion. Now I give you my martial arts blog, martialartsnomad.com.
There has been a great growth in martial arts that we enjoy today that was nurtured by previous generations. We enjoy the schools, culture, and excitement in martial arts because of their efforts, and how they sparked our own. Diversity flourishes and disciplines have fused. We have now have MMA, a a great cherry picking of the best techniques. Anyone can train an MMA workout and learn MMA techniques, much like the more defined and traditional arts that MMA is based on. Now, we have tournaments that are a virtual smörgåsbord of disciplines together in one place, with a wide array of ages and skills. Its an exciting time for all martial arts.
Martial arts is a great counterpoint to sitting around at a computer. Action is balanced with so much inaction. Its a release valve to vent frustrations and come up against something harder and tougher than yourself. But the the Internets, being what they is, is a little universe in itself to discover martial arts. There is the wacky, the kooky, the cool, the amazing, people creating things… martialartsnomad.com is a place to collect that too, and to share a bit of my passion for martial arts.
Here on this fight blog you will find MMA fight videos, fight pictures. You will find reviews of MMA gyms. There are reviews and interviews of trainers and sifus and senseis – all everyday people.
